The Sixth Amendment Center was founded in 2013 to help policymakers provide the right to counsel, a core American value that pre-dates the founding of our country. Because we can all agree that government should not take away a person’s liberty simply because it has the power to, our board and staff reflect all ends of the political spectrum.
